Heavy-Duty Limescale Armour & Digital Monitoring for Commercial Catering
Engineered for busy UK coffee shops, commercial kitchens, and hot beverage vending installations, the BRITA PURITY Quell 600 Complete System with MDU includes a durable pressure vessel, a PURITY Quell ST 600 cartridge, and an integrated digital display unit.
Utilising BRITA’s 4-stage systematic decarbonisation process alongside IntelliBypass technology, it selectively strips out aggressive carbonate hardness to halt scale formation before it damages internal boilers and heating elements. By removing chlorine, heavy metals, and micro-particles across all lines, it preserves natural coffee aromatics while providing digital capacity tracking to streamline service and minimise machine downtime.
Features
Integrated Measuring & Display Unit (MDU): Built-in digital display tracks water consumption in real time, alerting operators when filter changes are due to prevent unexpected downtime.
Systematic 4-Stage Decarbonisation: Combines coarse pre-filtration with laminar water distribution, ion-exchange hardness reduction, activated carbon purification, and fine fleece trapping.
Proprietary IntelliBypass Technology: Maintains a consistent bypass water ratio regardless of volumetric flow rate, ensuring uniform water quality even during low-throughput cycles.
Heavy-Duty Limescale Protection: Delivers up to 7,207 litres of treated water (at 10°dH, 40% bypass) to shield commercial boilers and pipework against scale deposits.
Total Aroma & Taste Conditioning: Activated carbon stage eliminates unpleasant odours, off-tasting chlorine, and heavy metals—across all bypass water—allowing coffee to develop its full aroma.

About the Brand - Brita
Founded in Germany in 1966 by Heinz Hankammer—who named the business after his daughter—BRITA revolutionized home hydration by inventing the world’s first domestic water filter jug. Over the past six decades, the family-founded company has evolved from a humble local innovation into a globally recognized household authority, synonymous with crisp, high-quality drinking water.
Driven by a commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge engineering, BRITA uses advanced activated carbon and ion-exchange filtration to effectively reduce limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals. Today, the brand is celebrated across millions of British homes for elevating the flavour of daily brews and coffee, extending appliance lifespans, and significantly reducing single-use plastic bottle waste.
