Targeted Mineralisation for Exceptional Coffee Flavour
Engineered for coffee setups in soft water areas (≤3° dH), the BRITA PURITY C500 MinUp provides controlled remineralisation by releasing natural calcium carbonate into the water stream. This raises TDS levels for a full-bodied espresso with rich crema while ensuring electronic boiler sensors operate reliably.
Combined with high-grade activated carbon to remove chlorine and organic impurities, it protects water chemistry and delivers up to 30,000 litres of balanced, barista-quality water.
Features
Targeted Soft Water Mineralisation: Specially formulated for regions with very soft water (≤3° dH), releasing natural calcium carbonate to optimize coffee extraction and aroma development.
Keeps Machine Sensors Working: Increases Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) to ensure electronic conductivity sensors in espresso machine boilers operate reliably without false errors.
Enhances Coffee Flavour & Crema: Balances acidity and body during the brewing process, producing a well-rounded taste profile and a dense, lasting crema.
Activated Carbon Clarification: Eliminates chlorine, off-tastes, and organic pollutants to ensure pristine, odor-free water for hot beverages.
Impressive 30,000-Litre Capacity: High-yield output provides long service life and continuous, predictable mineralisation across busy commercial coffee operations.
Vertical Space-Saving Installation: Designed for vertical operation using standard BRITA PURITY C filter heads with rapid-change locking handles.

About the Brand - Brita
Founded in Germany in 1966 by Heinz Hankammer—who named the business after his daughter—BRITA revolutionized home hydration by inventing the world’s first domestic water filter jug. Over the past six decades, the family-founded company has evolved from a humble local innovation into a globally recognized household authority, synonymous with crisp, high-quality drinking water.
Driven by a commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge engineering, BRITA uses advanced activated carbon and ion-exchange filtration to effectively reduce limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals. Today, the brand is celebrated across millions of British homes for elevating the flavour of daily brews and coffee, extending appliance lifespans, and significantly reducing single-use plastic bottle waste.
