Tailored Limescale Defence & Flavour Tailoring for Compact Espresso Machines

Engineered for compact, mobile, and table-top espresso machines with suction-operated water tanks, the BRITA Aqua Aroma Crema Filter Cartridge provides targeted decarbonisation directly inside the tank.

Featuring a customizable Aroma Ring, operators can easily adjust bypass levels based on local water hardness to optimize mineral extraction for a richer crema and vibrant acidity. It reduces scale-forming carbonate hardness, chlorine, and heavy metals—maintaining stable extraction pressure and safeguarding internal heating elements against costly scale damage.

Features

Dedicated Total Hardness Softening: Advanced sodium-charged ion-exchange resin selectively reduces total hardness to prevent destructive limescale and gypsum build-up in boilers and heating elements.

100% Water Filtration (0% Bypass): Operates strictly at 0% bypass so every drop of water is fully conditioned for consistent, high-standard coffee extraction.

Enhanced Crema Density & Aroma: Optimises mineral composition and preserves a balanced pH, unlocking full coffee aromatics and producing a rich, stable, golden crema.

Activated Carbon Impurity Defense: Filters out taste- and odour-impairing chlorine, organic contaminants, and heavy metals to ensure pristine water purity.

Universal PURITY C Fitment: Compatible with all standard BRITA PURITY C filter heads, featuring an easy rapid-change mechanism for quick servicing with minimal machine downtime.

About the Brand - Brita

Founded in Germany in 1966 by Heinz Hankammer—who named the business after his daughter—BRITA revolutionized home hydration by inventing the world’s first domestic water filter jug. Over the past six decades, the family-founded company has evolved from a humble local innovation into a globally recognized household authority, synonymous with crisp, high-quality drinking water.

Driven by a commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge engineering, BRITA uses advanced activated carbon and ion-exchange filtration to effectively reduce limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals. Today, the brand is celebrated across millions of British homes for elevating the flavour of daily brews and coffee, extending appliance lifespans, and significantly reducing single-use plastic bottle waste.
