From Ngoe Farm to Your Cup: The Story Behind Chimney Fire’s Kenyan Coffee
Chimney Fire Kenya Coffee Beans offer a vibrant and elegant cup, bursting with bright citrus, juicy red berries, and a smooth, wine-like finish. Sourced directly from Ngoe Farm, this coffee captures the very essence of Kenyan terroir and the craftsmanship behind truly sustainable farming.

Nestled on the border of Muranga and Nyeri counties, Ngoe Farm is home to around 11,000 Arabica trees, mainly SL28 and Ruiru 11, with some newer Batian varieties. The farm operates as a self-sufficient ecosystem, where coffee grows alongside pepper, fruit, and vegetables, supported by livestock that enriches the soil. Under the leadership of Dr Helen Gichohi, the farm champions organic and environmentally conscious methods, with 30% of its land replanted to the resilient Batian variety.
With its own wet mill and a dedicated team committed to quality and rehabilitation, Ngoe Farm stands as a model of sustainability and integrity. The partnership between Chimney Fire and Ngoe Farm reflects years of transparency, trust, and shared values, resulting in a coffee that is as meaningful as it is delicious.
Eight Years in the Making
Bright citrus and juicy red berries with a smooth, winey finish, this is the coffee that started it all.
Before founding Chimney Fire Coffee, founder Dan worked on Ngoe Farm in Kenya, where he gained hands-on experience in coffee and cocoa traceability. Inspired by farm owner Dr Helen Gichohi’s commitment to sustainability and self-sufficiency, he carried that ethos into Chimney Fire’s mission.
After eight years of collaboration, Chimney Fire proudly shares this directly sourced coffee, a true reflection of the company’s roots.
