Americas Espresso Blend

The Americas Espresso Blend combines coffees from two of the most popular producers in a rich, slightly darker roast. The result is a full-bodied coffee with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and walnut, which is equally at home in a cafetière as it is in a bean to cup machine – perfect for your morning flat white or cappuccino.

Chimney Fire's policy of responsible sourcing is equally important in their blends as it is in their single origin coffees, and they are excited to continue their partnership with Carmo Coffees in Brazil and JUMARP in Peru. They have been working with both producers since 2019, paying at least 35% over Fairtrade price for their high quality product.

Please note that as a temporary measure the colour of the packaging may vary from what is displayed in the product shot. The packaging is always industrially compostable, so please dispose of it in your food waste bin.

About the Coffee Origins: Brazil, Peru, Guatemala

The Americas Signature Blend features a rotating selection of no more than three seasonal origins at any given time, each chosen to maintain a consistent and distinctive flavour profile.

Brazil
Fazenda Sertão – This 850-hectare family-run farm cultivates Red and Yellow Bourbon, Catucai, and Catuai, alongside bananas, corn, and dairy livestock. Founded in the 1940s by dentist-turned-farmer José Isidro Pereira, the farm remains in the care of his wife, Nazareth, and their children, who continue the family’s coffee-growing tradition.

Regional Selection – Sourced from Carmo de Minas in Brazil’s Mantiqueira Mountains, this coffee is grown at 1,000–1,300 masl by selected farmers. The region’s climate and natural processing create sweet, balanced coffees with excellent traceability.

Peru
The Peruvian component comes from a direct partnership with Marita at Cooperativa Juan Marco El Palto, an organic-certified cooperative founded in 2003. Now with over 350 members, the cooperative reinvests speciality premiums into infrastructure, training, and sustainability initiatives, including local reforestation.

Colombia
Huila Reserve – Produced by smallholders with less than 2 hectares of land, growing Castillo, Caturra, and Tabi varieties. Each lot is individually assessed and cupped before blending to ensure consistent quality, with farmers receiving prompt payment upon approval.

Popayán Reserve – Grown at 1,700 masl in Cauca, where volcanic soils and the Andes’ protection foster exceptional coffee. Around 75 growers are paid up to 20% above market prices. Carefully selected cherries are washed and dried on raised beds for 5–7 days, preserving the coffee’s bright and complex flavour.

Guatemala
Finca Medina – Established in 1842 on the slopes of the Agua volcano near Antigua, this 100-hectare farm combines modern technology with traditional methods to produce fragrant, well-balanced coffees. UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certified, Finca Medina supports its workers through free healthcare and education programmes while maintaining a strong environmental focus.
