Yes, it is a very shiny portafilter lol ... all my life I was using coffee makers with a 51-54 mm portafilter, oh boy did i miss a lot.

My Profitec GO is great, haha the portafilter is very shiny and the whole build of a coffee maker is good.
I am able to brew diffetent roasts with perfection, thanks to precise temperature control, getting an amazing shot consistently in every cup.
It heats up relatively fast ... may be in arpund 8 minutes.
The space between the grouphead and a drip tray is on a small side. But having a naked portafilter will allow you to fit a cup and scales, this is good.
The machine itself is built nicely but a pair of rubber legs under the main body where the drip tray joins would help to make a coffee maker not flimsy where the drip tray is attached to the body with screws.
I have noticed that some water does get under the coffee maker in the place where discharge happens, for some reasons there are holes in the bottom of the drip tray holder.

Had this machine a couple of weeks now, love it, came from a Melitta bean to cup, the learning has been fun, but the machine makes a fine coffee and good to have the brewer and grinder in the one machine as space is a little limited.

Gto some lovely coffee free too, had reason to get in touch and Prime Coffee’s replied very quickly, I would happily deal with them in the future.
